The collection, use, maintenance, and disclosure of information on Hashbyte Tech customers (hereinafter referred to as “Customers”), Customer employees, website visitors, Hashbyte Tech employees, Hashbyte Tech contractors, Hashbyte Tech vendors, and Job Applicants is governed by this privacy policy. The Site and all goods and services that Hashbyte Tech provides are covered by this privacy statement. For the purposes of this privacy statement, “Personal Data” refers to any information that has been given to Hashbyte Tech that identifies or can be used to identify a specific individual.

Personal Identification Information

When users visit our website, sign up for our newsletter, complete a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available on our site, we may collect personal identification information about them in a variety of ways. To carry out our candidate assessment and hiring processes, we gather Personal Data from Hashbyte Tech job applicants. To fulfil our HR obligations to our employees, such as conducting employee onboarding, managing payroll and benefits (and related record keeping), filing government reports, managing company network management and authentication, security, and emergency notification management, as well as enhancing employee health and safety, we gather personal data from our employees.

Biometric Data Privacy: Hashbyte Tech never collects nor manages the personnel data of its customers. The gathering of employee finger scan data for Customers using Hashbyte Tech HRMS with a biometric or finger scanning device is done and managed by the Customer. The Customer uses this data to verify its employees in line with its employee timekeeping requirements. The only templates that Hashbyte Tech has access to in this material are those produced by mathematical methods, not fingerprints.

The gathering of such data is not handled by Hashbyte Tech or under its supervision. Instead, Hashbyte Tech customers gather this employee data by using the finger scanning devices and associated software, and then either store the information at the customer-controlled site or on secure space (in accordance with applicable law) made available by Hashbyte Tech in a cloud environment for that purpose.

Opt-Outs: If, at any time after providing us with your contact information or other Personal Data, your Personal Data changes, you no longer wish to receive information from us (such as newsletters and other types of marketing materials), or you wish to change any other use of your Personal Data described above that is under our control, send us a request along with your updated information and/or your new preferences. Hashbyte Tech has further pledged to working with the EU and Swiss data protection authorities (DPAs) to resolve Privacy Shield complaints involving the transfer of human resources data from the EU or Switzerland during an employment relationship.
